Ah, Terry Duvall et al. If they had the damn yearbook right there, you'd think they could spell the damn name right. Oh well. Um... that's... flattering? Kind of a crappy song, but hey.
... Wow. He does say that you said, "Fiddler on the Roof" when he mentioned your beard. It's sort of terrifying to think that people could just be out there writing songs about any of us RIGHT NOW.
Heh, yeah, I caught that on the third time true. Still can't make out all the lyrics. Silly lad, Mr. Duvall. I think he was in my core group Junior year, but we were never precisely friends. The rest of them I knew even more tangentially, if at all. But as you said, who's to stop anyone who ever knew us from writing songs about us and smearing them all over the intertubes? It is a terrifying thought indeed.
oh dear, i did not mean to cause anxiety! this is a johnny band of students from various years, which got founded (i think) sometime in the late-ish 90s and which i thought fell apart sometime in 2001 after playing one last coffeehaus, but evidently moved to chicago instead and started playing clubs. i was startled to discover them on the MySpace, and even more startled to find a mirabai song. mostly their oevre centers around ninjas, nuns and beer.
It greatly amused my girlfriend, so all is forgiven. ('8
For the record, I may or may not have signed Mr. Duvall's yearbook. I don't remember. However, I'm fairly sure I signed neither his body nor his heart.

Agh! Who are these people? Why are they singing about me? Agh! What?!
I only had a beard for one summer, and it was because I was playing the title role in Fiddler on the Roof! Defamation of character!

I am now going to write songs about everyone I know.
