in other political news, a former aide to henry hyde is apparently now the one in charge of determining which politicians may legitimately have a D next to their names. guess i better correct my voter registration, because clearly i am Doing It Wrong. and so is around half of the democratic party, it would appear. except we aren't actually democrats now, so that doesn't count.

I don't read Kos anymore, I haven't really for years. There's enough else out there to not make me miss it, and stuff like this merely reinforces that decision. Yech. I'll say again, I would be ecstatic about either Clinton or Obama being the nominee, because I think they both would be fantastic presidents, certainly better than anyone the Republicans put up. And the amount of shit Clinton has gone through is so fucking disheartening, I don't even now. Racism and sexism should be "in competition" but it does seem to me that sexism is, at least, more widely acceptable, which is just depression.
