I have it. It works OK, although the out-of-network long distance is, as always, totally killer, dude. The phone they gave me free is like a lame version of the Razor, but I can't complain. Not a heavy cell phone user, so battery power is a major concern, and this thing can stay pretty fresh on a single charge for five days if unused.
hmmmm. likely it would only be feasible if greg's parents switched too, with the long distance. quality of phone isn't really an issue, because our current ones suck hard anyway. our use is pretty low too, even though it is our only phone, so it's good to hear the batteries hold a charge.
going by map, their coverage looks pretty decent out here, comparatively speaking.
I am with Credo, for about 3 months now and haven't had any problems.
However, We are getting bullied by Verizon now, who keeps charging us and is trying to stick us with a fee for leaving them even though we were not under contract with them any more. We're not going to let them bully us though. People have right to choose to deal with more responsible companies when the big ones get out of control.
I encourage you to try Credo. They have a 30 day full refund option if you hate it.

My brother has been trying (and has been pretty successfull) to convince my family to switch to Sprint's SERO thing.

tori: the attractive thing to me about CREDO is their progressive political stance. i'm not aware of sprint having a similar program. do they?
