there is nothing - NOTHING - which stops my allergies. nothing. claritin, zyrtec, allegra, chlorpheniramine, benadryl, sudafed, tavist, nasal sprays both 'scrip and OTC. nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing.

I've had some mild success with Claritin in the morning and Benadryl at night. My allergies are not stopped but I'm able to think about something besides itchy drippy sneezy coughy want to die. That said, my nose is still a funny shape and will be until who knows when.
what i can't figure out: any random allergy med i try works okay for a week or so, and then just utterly fails. if i can become immune to the antihistamines, why can't i become immune to the histamines, or to the irritants that cause me to produce them? rarr!
