...so a spot just opened up for me in the Fall 07 class.
which starts in a week.
so, um.
wow.
i should probably start the seminar reading...
(this is, of course, pending contact with financial aid; i'm not sure whether changing my start date would reduce or invalidate their aid offer. if it does, well, i'll have time to read the iliad a bit more thoroughly. but still.)

Wow. For me, I know I ended up a Febbie because they offered aid for me if I came then, but not in the Fall because I had applied later than most.
Congratulations! We'll all cross our fingers for you in regard to financial aid.
Oh, anne, I hope it works out!
You'll do fine. I didn't find out about the seminar reading until the day before seminar Freshman year... :P
crazily enough, switching to the fall class made my aid award *bigger*. not by much, but at least my EFC remains the same.
i still don't quite know how it happened, but i'm happy.
Yay! Go anne! Enjoy the Iliad!
Woo! Congratulations and good luck!
Woo Anne! Drop that "-by-association" once and for all!
Yay! (This is making me want to read the Iliad again. Only, you know, leisurely this time.)
When do you find out your tutors? When I transferred out there, they didn't tell us that we were supposed to read Anna Kerenina, not War and Peace, until a couple weeks before. I'd just finished War and Peace. I didn't read Anna Karenina very well.
Anne, you're freaking awesome. Whup it all to pieces. And make sure to blog a lot for the sake of us nostalgic types.
i won't know my tutors until registration, a week from now. i did get a look at the tutors slated to take the freshmen, and i'm told they're pretty good. one of the seminars will have carey/ames.
i don't get mr faren, though, and he's apparently leaving after this semester. i cry.
i will blog! you may live through me vicariously!
