The big weak link is that the posts are readable by all your friends, so it's hard to have anything like real security. So, the methods to get at someone's friendslocked posts might vary depending on who the poster was and who the hacker was--and in some cases it might even be impossible, or at least impractical--but I generally wouldn't consider a locked LJ post as a good place to put something I really wanted to be secret.
i'm not particularly worried about security on my end, but have been asked this question by a party interested in finding out what an ex wrote in a f-locked post in a journal for which said party was not friended. which may be slightly unethical, admittedly, but i did say i'd ask.
